Louise & Efe – Scottish/Turkish Wedding at Castello Tassara

Louise and Efe’s wedding at Castello Tassara was a heartfelt multi-day celebration filled with laughter, love, and thoughtful touches that reflected both of their cultures. The festivities began the night before with a relaxed pizza truck party, where family and friends from near and far gathered to kick off the weekend in a fun, informal way.

On the wedding day, their ceremony took place in the castle’s beautiful garden, framed by greenery and the historic charm of Castello Tessera. Every detail celebrated their heritage: Louise’s Scottish roots were honoured with a traditional ceremony and the stirring sound of bagpipes — a surprise that delighted her father — while Turkish delight favours added a sweet nod to Efe’s Turkish family.

The timing of the garden ceremony was perfect, with guests guided inside just as a sudden summer rain shower arrived. What could have felt stressful instead became one of the most magical moments of the day. Louise and Efe moved through each moment with calm, joy, and presence, inspiring everyone around them to do the same. Their quick, graceful adaptation turned the rain into a playful, memorable experience that enhanced the celebration rather than interrupted it.

From the vibrant welcome party to the intimate garden ceremony and joyful evening, every moment reflected Louise and Efe’s personalities, their love, and the blending of two cultures in one unforgettable Italian wedding. It was a day full of laughter, warmth, and effortless joy — a beautiful reminder that the most memorable weddings are those where love and presence shine brighter than any plan.
